Deep rutting in verge caused by Highways Agency

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath issue (NH) category anonymously at 00:57, Thu 20 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4464091.

Highways Agency traffic management lorry (being used for night work) is using the grass verge area beside the roundabout and next to the stormwater pumping station to park up during the day and has caused deep rutting which is dangerous to pedestrians . Verge needs regrading, seeding and maintaining to ensure that grass grows again . This is not a registered operating centre for HGV's therefore the operator needs to be prosecuted and made to park in a licenced operating centre.Highways Agency Resident Engineer needs to explain why this wasn't noticed by him or his team
