Series of potholes in lane 3

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4463869.

A number of potholes one after the other all in the overtaking lane, just as you are coming up to / passing by the junction for the Bishop Stortford services. Needs closing off and repair work

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the potholes on the M11 at Junction 8. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team who will promptly investigate your report. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
