Traffic lights will cause an accident

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 22:54, Tue 18 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4458457.

Dear Sirs The last two weeks quite few people have reported the issues by using different channels the problem with the traffic light at the first exit at the junction 6 at M62 which are operating only for ten seconds but no action has been taken from your side until now. As result the queues are going back at least half of mile in M62 which enhances the risk of a traffic accident as the other cars are moving with the speed of 70miles and the rest of us we stuck at the left lane On top of that the delays are very long and frustrating for all of us who we are using daily the junction . I use this junction for ages and never had an issue but the last two weeks while the traffic light operates only for ten seconds has triggered all the above problems . I m wondering who has took the decision to change the time that the traffic lights are operating and why as is very frustrating. I hope you will fix it as matter of urgency as you will be responsible for any traffic accident that might will happen in M62 All the above can be confirmed by the traffic cameras . Waiting for your immediate action
