Traffics lights at the River Wyre junction sequencing is disgraceful

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 19:12, Mon 17 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4452849.

A journey from Windy Harbour Junction along the A585 to the junction of B5412 which should take less than 5 mins is taking at least 30. I sat at the traffic lights to turn right onto the B5412 for 8 minutes until they changed to green again. In this time all other lanes had passed through the lights at least 3 times. The sequencing of these lights must be changed and your planners sent to observe the traffic build up again during peak times to see the impact this is having on local residents. 2 years of disruption at this junction and I do not hold any confidence at all that when these works are complete that it is going to make any improvement to traffic build up and journey times through this area.
