Dangerous lack of Myton Bridge East Bound Contraflow Signage

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 10:35, Mon 17 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4449491.

Myton Bridge east bound carriageway has the near side (lane 1 - on east bound side) and far side (lane 3 - on west bound side) lanes remerging into 3 lanes on the east bound carriage. There is a dangerous lack of signage, which see traffic from both lane 1 and lane 3 been able to simultaneously merge into lane 2. Given that all HGVs heading towards the docks have to move from lane 1 into lane 2, the lack of appropriate signage/road markings drastically increases the risk of an RTC from 2 vehicles merging from lane 1 and 3 into lane 2.
