One long pothole eastbound and westbound

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 09:44, Mon 17 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4449068.

400 m approx section of A35 (eastbound and westbound) has conjoined potholes, causing great disturbance to smaller vehicles. Trunk road appearing like farm track. Location approximate, but roughly where road goes over River Piddle. Tarmac appears to be coming off section resurfaced when concrete road was too noisy after construction.

Updates

  • The whole section of tarmac’d road West and East bound from Puddletown to the Kingston Maurward roundabout needs urgent attention. There are several sections especially in the middle of the road where the cats eyes are, that have large potholes. I have personally had damage twice in as many weeks to my tyres on my 2022 Hyundai vehicle and almost everyone I talk to in this Village is saying the same. When is this going to be addressed please? I am in contact with most people in the village via social media so I can give them an update if you are able to write to me or call. Regards Sylvia Salcedo sylvia.a.salcedo@gmail.com 07788 101075.
