Speed Matrix Signs Junction 18 to 17 M60

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4446414.

These speed matrix signs are constantly illuminated. There will be a speed decrease coming up to junction 18 on the M60, usually if not always 60mph & then a national speed limit sign just before junction 17. This is happening all the time, when the motorway is clear etc which causes vehicles to slow down over junction 18 unnecessarily. Don’t know if there’s a fault that’s been undetected or if there’s a reason for it but I felt it needed reporting has this has been going on for many months.
