Large & Dangerous Pothole approaching Stanstead Airport Junction 8a Northbound

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 19:16, Thu 13 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4436455.

While changing lanes this morning at 5am approaching Junction 8a Northbound for Stanstead Airport we hit a large pothole which caused nearside front tyre to blow out. It was still dark and it frightened me and my 2 passengers and as we're not local to the area and in the dark we can only give an approximation as to whereabouts of pothole, but we were changing lanes to exit J8A and pothole seemed to be along the lane markings
