Dead deer on the central reservation

Reported via mobile in the Dead animals (NH) category anonymously at 18:33, Thu 13 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4436269.

There is a dead deer in the central reservation on the motorway from Middleton towards Pilsworth. Concern that foxes may try and get to it from the grass and farmland either side of the motorway not only causing danger to drivers and passengers but also to themselves. Also as the deer decomposes this will be worse for staff having to pick it up so sooner the better. I can’t remember exactly where he is but it’s definitely going from Middleton towards pilsworth and I think after sinister island. Thanks. I’ve seen it there for the past 3 days
