Road unable to cope

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4420137.

The junction, roundabouts and road instrastructure and unable to cope with the volume of traffic.

Anytime there is the smallest delay on the A282 tunnels, all routes to this location block up, and congestion is terrible. What can be done to improve this junction?

The only time when it is bad that traffic still flows, is when the entry slip to the A282 North is closed, and all A282/M25 traffic is diverted via the South bound carriageway.

  • Why is there a bus lane leading up to Steele Avenue, Greenhithe - ALL the buses turn right at the roundabout and a bus NEVER uses that road - why not turn it into a turn into Steele Avenue route - like all the other estates on this route!
