The obsolete signs are still in place

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category by Roger Mullenger at 15:16, Sun 9 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4416835.

These two signs have been here for at least two years, not serving, and have never served any purpose. Now effectively litter! When I reported it in January you said "repairs would be scheduled". No repairs are needed, just collection. Frequently a "Bronze Control Unit" van is parked apparently doing nothing about 2 miles away. It could pick it up.

  • Thank you for bringing this to our further attention.

We agree the signage does not reflect the correct information as the road does have markings, however it is missing road studding. These signs were intended to mitigate this.

We have order "No Road Stud" signage to be installed here to better reflect the missing feature.
