Requires road markings on road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4415324.

This road has no road marking on the roads for lane guidance and it is extremely dangerous as there are many left hand drive lorries in the area using the left hand lane to attempt a right had turn at the roundabout. Marking on the road to dictate which direction you can travel in each lane will be much appreciated by road users.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report concerning no road markings on the A160 for lane guidance.

    Currently there are no plans to add lane designation markings here. However we do note that there is advance signing approaching the roundabout showing destinations. There is a scheme in our program to refresh the existing markings in this location in early 2024.

    We will continue to monitor this and will arrange any work if required in the future.
