Multiple deep potholes at end of slip road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4412644.

Slip road from BP services/Park and Ride joining A12 Eastbound. Multiple potholes at end of slip road. All deep. Road condition is an absolute disgrace. Impossible to avoid them in a car making an already tricky merge point onto a busy A12 even more problematic. Incredibly dangerous for motorcyclists.

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team who will promptly investigate your report. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
