Both lanes at beddingham roundabout coming from lewes

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4411576.

Both ladies are very badly degraded it is impossible to avoid these potholes. People have been swerving all over and where I couldn’t avoid the potholes due to busy traffic the pothole made my tyres skid into the other lane. Incredibly dangerous and needs sorting. It’s an accident waiting to happen especially with longer vehicles such as lorries and caravans

  • Thank you for your report concerning the road surface condition.

    We’re aware of this and we're currently designing a resurfacing scheme ' A27 Southerham to Beddingham' to address this, with construction later this financial year.

    In the meantime we monitor the road condition during our regular safety inspections when any safety issues will be raised for urgent repair.
