Large pothole on A696 NORTHBOUND towards newcastle airport just off the A1 roundabout in inside lane, large area covered

  • Thank you for your report concerning a large pothole at the A696 northbound at the Newcastle airport roundabout. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

    We’re aware of the potholes/damaged road surface and we will be attending on Wednesday 19 April 2023 to assess the pavement condition and treatment options.

    In the interim signage, is in place advising of an uneven surface.
