Drain cover not covering hole in road

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4407605.

One of the two drain covers on the A249 southbound between the M20 junction 7 & the Notcutts' roundabout has fallen into the hole, leaving a hole in the road.

The drain cover comprises two triangular sections, which both seem to be in tact so an easy repair may be possible

I found a discarded cone which I have placed in front of it to reduce the possibility of a motorcyclist, cyclist of other road user from crashing into the hole
