A14 J38-39 eastbound ruts in lane 1 from lorries

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4407112.

Really hazardous driving in lane one where the road surface has worn into ruts from wear caused by lorries. Even more so when it is, or has been raining. Completely terrifying. please re-surface this stretch of the A14.

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team who will promptly investigate your report. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
