Maldon southbound a12 exit

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4404014.

The whole slip road has turned into one pothole, extremely dangerous and will cause damage to cars. Been like it for months but due to the heavy rainfall in the past week has made it an extreme hazard, even going over it at 10mph creates a large bang and jolt.

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team who are endeavouring to find a permanent solution for the pothole issues in this area. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. Kind regards National Highways
