Carriageway pothole at the very end of the slip-off road

The carriageway pothole at this location was temporarily repaired approximately twelve months ago. This temporary repair have now failed and, as a consequence, the pothole have reappeared again. Could you please arrange for this defective area of the carriageway to be properly permanently repaired.

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the pothole on the A14 at junction 52. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team who will promptly investigate your report. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
