Dangerous junction

Reported via mobile in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 13:29, Wed 5 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4401774.

I reported this a while ago now. That this junction has two lanes, 1 should be to turn left and 1to turn right. People obviously don't know how to drive as they use the left lane to turn right, sometime without indicating and blocking the vision of those in the correct lane turning right. There has been so many accidents in the past at this junction because of people using it incorrectly. It was said temporary rd sign would be put up but whoever it was has made the situation worse as the sign put up as you enter slip rd says use both lanes. Forgive me but that's no use nor ornament as it makes the situation worse. Ideally a sign with an arrow pointing left for the left lane and another arrow pointing right for turning right in the right lane. It's frustrating and dangerous that people can't work it out for themselves and that signage needs to be put up,but I see this the only way forward in reducing if not stopping another accident. Please help on this matter. Thank you.
