Road surface degraded

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4399440.

The left hand lane, eastbound on to the Beddingham roundabout is now so badly degraded it resembles a farm track. I witness traffic swerving on my daily commute to avoid the significant potholes. This area is now very dangerous.

  • Thank you for your report concerning the road surface condition.

    We’re aware of this and we're currently designing a resurfacing scheme ' A27 Southerham to Beddingham' to address this, with construction later this financial year.

    In the meantime we monitor the road condition during our regular safety inspections when any safety issues will be raised for urgent repair.
