Litter on verges of A1 from J37 travelling south for many miles.
Reported via desktop in the Litter (NH) category anonymously at 19:12, Tue 4 April 2023
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4399001.
Grass verges smothered in plastic litter and unclaimed traffic cones. The litter is never ending and stretches for miles travelling southwards down the A1. This litter will eventually be blown into local rivers and carried out to sea. The environment does not stand a chance!

'Traffic cones are typically left for night work'... who are you trying to fool? The whole network is littered with your abandoned equipment and you continue to fail to take any responsibility for this. What an absolute shambles. Stop wasting tax payers money, stop blighting the network with your equipment, stop making excuses and trying to justify this despicable behaviour from your workers. My campaign is just starting and will continue to gather support to highlight this national wide issues. Chevron, Ringway and all the other TM companies you use have been getting away with this for too long. It's time they were held accountable and they will be.
