Discarded sign on roundabout

Could you kind people please clear the discarded and damaged sign from the roundabout. SB obvious.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant roadworks equipment on the A47 at the Thickthorn interchange. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    National Highways employ external contractors to carry out roadworks on motorways and strategic A roads. These contractors are required to remove all temporary signs and equipment when the works are finished. Sometimes this does not happen as effectively as we would like. We are currently looking into a way that we can overcome this issue and will endeavour to remove all redundant signage and equipment at our earliest opportunity. We have passed your report onto our local inspector to action. Kind Regards National Highways
