Invisible road marking when road surface is wet with glare of sun

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 18:49, Sat 1 April 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4386834.

The road markings/ lane dividing markings are invisible in glare of the sun on wet road surface. The road surface is terribly bumpy and poor and it’s very hard to identify the lane boundaries. The entire road surface between junctions 6-7 is shocking. I am very disappointed it has not been resurfaced with the opening of the smart motorway. It’s an accident waiting to happen.
