Traffic flow issue due to traffic light sequence change

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 18:09, Wed 29 March 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4374031.

Problem already reported but just to reiterate that the obvious change in light sequencing is seriously impacting the flow of traffic during rush hour. It is an accident waiting to happen as traffic is backing up on M5 from J19 as well as up over Failand. I personally felt unsafe the last two mornings queuing on the Avonmouth bridge with the sheer number of cars and lorries flying past and vehicles cutting in further down by the lights. Please can this be sorted, this used to be a very easy journey both morning and evening.
