Badly finished repair

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4370249.

3rd party contractors were recently digging up the road and they have left a huge hump of tarmac in the repair going eastbound, and there's a deep pothole going westbound

    I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further investigation.

    Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
