Road surface pothole all over junction and roundabout of the A27/A26 eastbound

Road surface in poor state across the entrance to the roundabout and in the outside lane of the roundabout, this is dangerous to motorcyclist especially in the dark, it could have a rider off his bike and onto the roundabout

  • Thank you for your report concerning the condition of the road surface. We’re aware of this and long term we're designing a full resurfacing scheme to be constructed in the new financial year from April 2023. In the short term, we carry out weekly safety inspections along this stretch of the A27 when any safety critical defects are raised for urgent mitigation.
