Overhead sign issue

Reported via desktop in the Sign issue (NH) category anonymously at 11:26, Tue 28 March 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4367855.

I have report this problem for the same location numerous times before. Yesterday 27 March 2023 at approx 09:50am the overhead sign on the northbound carriageway after post A147.5 displayed "Queue Ahead 60mph" -the overhead sign after A149.0 displayed "Queue Ahead 40mph" and the overhead sign after A150.6 displayed "End". There was no traffic issue whatsoever. This fault has existed for over 6 months. Please can I have some feedback as to why the problem has not been fixed? Is this a policy to slow vehicles down even if there is not a problem? Is it a hardware/software problem of an operator problem? As I have said previously it is important that these signs display the correct warnings because if they are not they will loose their credibility and drivers will ignore them.
