Big dip forming, presenting hazard to vehicles exiting motorway at high speed.

  • Thank you for your report concerning a subsistence in the M27 at Junction 1.

    I can advise that we're aware of this issue, and our Pavement team are currently investigating potential causes of the dip, as simple resurfacing without addressing the root causes will only temporarily alleviate the issue. We can't currently provide a timescale for this scheme. In the meantime, we regularly visit and inspect the road, and will implement lane closures and emergency repairs as required.
