Rusted road sign

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4355529.

I've pin pointed this as best I could. The rusted broken sign is on the eastbound A47 section close to the exit to North Burlingham. Should be obvious to you young sharp eyed chaps! Thanks , Nigel

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant roadworks equipment on the A47. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    National Highways employ external contractors to carry out roadworks on motorways and strategic A roads. These contractors are required to remove all temporary signs and equipment when the works are finished. Sometimes this does not happen as effectively as we would like. We are currently looking into a way that we can overcome this issue and will endeavour to remove all redundant signage and equipment at our earliest opportunity.

    We have passed your report onto our local inspector to action.
