Pot Hole A46 just after Groby exit

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4349218.

On Saturday 28th march 2023 around 12.15 my son hit a pothole on the A46 just past the Groby turn off, the hole was that bad it burst his tyre which he lost control of the car for a few seconds (which is very scary in its self for a young driver of 20.he wasn’t going fast has a black box) he managed to gain control and pull into a safe place and change tyre to a spacer. Which is very dangers being on side of road. My son has had to pay £106 for a new tyre, how do we go about complaining and tying to get the money back, we can’t take photos of the hole as iv been passed and its to dangers to stop and take a photo. Also, the hole needs filling up before it causes a crash and someone is hurt. Hope someone can point me in the right direction?.
