Condition of current lane 1 and 2 in both directions

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4348400.

Road is in a poor to dangerous condition in both directions in lanes 1 and 2. To say this has been subject of major roadworks for years now this section is in desperate need of total resurfacing rather than endless scratch and patch repairs that are now starting to fail (again!) . The endless overrun, and condition of road we are forced to use daily is an absolute disgrace. Whoever is running this job should never work in road construction again.

    We have 14 pavement (road surface) schemes planned for the M56. 3 schemes will commence in 2023. In the meantime we'll continue to carry out targeted patching. Your report has been passed to the relevant team to carry out an inspection.
