Reported via mobile in the Roadworks (NH) category by Andrew Towgood at 15:37, Wed 22 March 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4346381.

The off ramp, A27 northbound, ment to the footpath cycle lane there are lots of sand bags frames and signs left between the university bus stop and the roundabout taking you over to the Brighton uni Falmer campus or into the Sussex university campus. Please can these be removed to stop the plastic sand bags being mown in our the metal frames damaging the mowing machinery. Thanks

  • Thank you for your report concerning abandoned road signs. We’re aware of this issue and are planning a full sweep of the A27 between Patcham and Pevensey to remove any signs and a-frames that aren't required. We anticipate completing this exercise by the end of April. Your report will be passed to the team arranging the works. Kind regards National Highways
