Highways contractor waste on A500 in vicinity of

In this area there is a large quantity of your contractors waste dumped on either side of the road; broken traffic cones est about x50, broken lamps, broken road signs metal work, temporary barrier plastic, pipe. This is not litter - it has clearly been left behind by contractors working on your behalf.

  • Thank you for your report concerning leftover road works equipment. Our inspectors visited the area this morning and have confirmed that the signs and frames are in relation to the closures on the M6 as there are works overnight. These works will be completed by the end of May. They're going to re-visit the location at night to check if these items are in use.
