Warnings of cycle / pedestrian crossing required

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 11:32, Sat 18 March 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4327931.

The resurfaced pathway from Falmer to Woodingdean has made a huge difference to the journey between Brighton and Lewes, although some kind of warning at the path crossing B2123 / Drove Road, e.g. coloured road surface and warning signs of a cycle / pedestrian crossing, would help to show motor traffic along the highway of the crossing route (see separate report) and make it easier to cross as well as less dangerous as traffic tends to travel very fast at this location unless it has slowed to allow traffic into / out of the Bexhill Road junction (where there is a yellow hashed Keep Clear road marking).
