Road work traffic lights TERRIBLE!!!

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4324919.

The traffic lights at breck road/ Stanah/ mains lane are terrible. It took 11/2 hrs to get to poulton this morning and just taken 55 minutes to get from Hambleton to Thornton. These journeys take 10 minutes max. Surely you cannot expect this level of delay to be acceptable. Lights from Thornton to poulton only allow 3 cars to wait and cars turning right to mains lane cannot get through. It then takes 3 minutes for the sequence of lights to everyone else through before 5-6 cars are able to get to poulton. Caters backed up all the way to Stanah primary school this morning (approx 1 mile)! This needs sorting urgently
