Absolute chaos being caused by the new lights being switched on at River Wyre

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights (NH) category anonymously at 09:24, Fri 17 March 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4323839.

There is traffic backed up all the way in every direction, in some directions for miles. This has then escalated the existing problem at the next roundabout down (Norcross). People are diverting to avoid using the A585 and now it is bumper to bumper through Poulton and Carleton. I have heard Hambleton is just as bad. All this is triggered by these two roundabouts on the A585 and their new lights. One hour to do a 20 minute school run this morning on what is typically the quietest day of the week. All kids late to school and adults late into work. Please sort quickly before Monday rush!
