Loud noise

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4318306.

There seems to be a loud banging/rattling when heavy vehicles pass, the noise has been getting loud over the last couple of weeks.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report concerning a banging noise coming from the M3.

    We investigated this issue and found a damaged manhole cover, which produced this noise when driven over. We can confirm that as of 17 March, this manhole cover has been repaired.
