Loud clattering

We live on Ferniehurst which is parallel to the M3 motorway. As lorries go by, there is a loud clattering noise. It sounds like something is loose on the motorway. We first noticed the noise at the beginning of March unfortunately the noise has been getting worse by the day to the point the house vibrates. We would be grateful if this could be looked into.   • Thank you for your report concerning a clattering noise coming from the M3.

    We investigated this issue and found a damaged manhole cover, which produced this clattering noise when driven over. We can confirm that as of 17 March, this manhole cover has been repaired.
