Dangerous Pothole in Left Lane - Unavoidable

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (NH) category anonymously at 12:17, Tue 14 March 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4311720.

Large pothole in left lane of the M11 southbound towards London, approx 1.5/2 miles from Junction 7.

Wasn't able to clearly see the pothole when travelling the speed limit, large bang as my front passenger side wheel hit the pot hole and tyre was flat within 1km - had to pull onto the hard shoulder last night and get my vehicle recovered.

From looking at reports and from searching on the internet, it looks like I'm definitely not the 1st person to report this - looks like the stretch between junction 6 - 8 is currently in awful, and dangerous condition. Could easily have caused a blown out the tyre and caused serious harm to myself and others.
