A404M / M4 jct 8/9 traffic light phasing

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4311665.

For the last few weeks the traffic light phasing has only been on green for approx. 8 secs on each rotation, leading to traffic backing up beyond A404M jct 9A in the morning and evening and circa. 10 mins to get through the junction. This has been reported mutliple times but National Highways do not seem to be acting on the feedback. These delays must be contributing to excess exhaust emissions whilst cars idle in stationary traffic; something I'm sure the local press would be interested in.
