Traffic light phasing is wrong

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4310508.

A404 traffic backs up for 2 miles due to changes in the traffic light phasing at J8. This has never been a problem before so someone has made a conscious decision to make the change. Despite it being reported several times over, no one is doing anything about it.

  • Thank you for your report concerning traffic light phasing issues on the M4/A404 junction.

    We're aware of a fault at this site. We've faced some difficulties in accessing the controller due to a rodent infestation, however we're clearing the issue and an engineer will attend the site today to review and arrange repairs as required.
