Huge crater pothole, southbound towards Hastings, A21

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4306877.

There is a huge pothole on the southbound carriageway towards Hastings on the A21 in whatlington, East Sussex. This has punctured my tyre. This needs urgently looking at!

  • I hit this pothole in my Jaguar yesterday at around midday - the pothole is massive. It will cause a serious accident apart from the damage to vehicles . . .

  • It appears still to be there, certainly a severe thud on passing the pothole. At night no chance of missing it, will do much damage if it could be given some priority.

  • The pothole was filled in March. It’s back . . . exactly the same place.

    The quality of the temporary fixes is appalling. More transient than temporary.
