Damaging Pot Hole

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4302680.

There is a large pothole, which has popped my tyre and is a danger to other road users using the M11. The pothole is located in lane one south bound between junction 7 and junction 6, shortly before reaching North Weald Airfield.

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about potholes on the M11 south of Harlow. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further investigation.

    Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect. In addition to immediate repairs, I can confirm that we’re currently in a program of resurfacing parts of the M11, including around junction 7.
