Massive 'war zone' potholes. Lane 3

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4293411.

The M11 has been like a war zone for months. You have to drive with your eyes on stalks to see the craters in the distance and then swerve to avoid them! Finally tonight due to the sleet and mist I missed spotting one of these vast chasms and its bulged my tyre, buckled my wheel and put my steering off centre and now I'm going to have great pleasure in not only claiming for the damage to my car but for every second of my wasted time in pursuing the issue. Do you jobs and fix our roads!

I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further investigation. Potholes can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
