Large drain sinking.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4289415.

The final 4 large drains from the a47 national speed limit down to the 40mph zone westbound are beginning to sink from traffic impact

  • Thank you for informing our Customer Contact Centre about the drains on the A47 at Wendling. I appreciate you taking the time to report this. I’ve passed your observations to our maintenance team for further investigation.

    Faults such as these can be hazardous and we have processes in place to ensure they are made safe quickly. We carry out frequent safety patrols to monitor the condition of the road. Any potholes or defects we find are recorded. Repairs are then prioritised based on the severity of the defect.
