Mature tress have been felled adjacent to offslip

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation (grass/hedges/trees) (NH) category anonymously at 17:03, Mon 6 March 2023

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4287356.

Last week a large number of mature trees have been felled in the hedge between the A38 offslip into Ivybridge and Cornwood Road. Presumably this is authorised work, but why?

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the trees.

We've checked and the trees are not within land that we maintain, the work was probably out by Devon County Council or South Hams District Council.

Contact details for local authorities can be found by using the search facility at: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-council.

    Kind regards
