Litter Issues M1 Area 5

Inspection of M1 in National Highways Area 5 is urgently needed. There is significant amounts of litter along the full stretch of the M1 between Jct 1 and 5.

  • There is an obscene amount of litter along the A41 as you come off the M1 at Watford. And there is generally so much rubbish along all the highways that just gets left. It’s a hazard to wildlife. It would be good to see a new campaign to clean it up and to also remind the public not to throw it in the first place and of the fines they could incur if they do?
