White road marking lines

As previously reported the white lines on the roundabout are well warn and can hardly be seen. I come round here several times a day in an artic and I’m sick of been cut up and having near Misses as no one can see the lanes coming round the roundabout. I’ve noticed that it’s been reported before and you’ve re painted about 10meters of the lines where the new lights are. Why wasn’t the whole lot re done at the same time. There was a team of engineers out adjusting the light sequences a couple Of weeks ago hopefully they’ve seen and reported how bad the markings are. This roundabout has needed re painting for a couple of years I know of many people who have reported this issue

We're aware of the problem here and we've instructed a scheme to be prepared to renew the road markings in this location. It's currently in the design process, and then we'll instruct our contractors to arrange roadspace and carry out the work.
