Enormous amount of litter/industrial debris

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4281766.

Huge amount of litter/industrial waste/road signs/traffic cones all around the round about at this junction. Absolutely disgusting! Do you job and maintain the motorway and clean it up as this is an environmental hazard.

    National Highways manage motorways and certain ‘A’ road trunks roads in England, all other roads are the responsibility local authorities.

    This is the responsibility of Kirklees Council. We do undertake litter picking within our boundary at Junction 24 but where the majority of the reported litter is, is Local Authority.

    We have reported this to Kirklees Council on your behalf.
